Alterations of dresses and skirts

Taking up (shortening) of skirts and dresses.

Too big waist can be taken in to fit.

Pockets can be added into side seams, optionally slit or bias bound pockets can be created in the absence of seams or patch pockets on the outside of the dress/skirt.

Bodice of the dress can be adjusted if too big to fit your body

Shoulder pads can be added.

Sleeves can be shortened, including cuffs alterations

Torn fabric/holes can be mended.

Elements of dresses (sleeves, cuffs, finishes)can be replaced with different fabric to create new look

Possible solutions for dresses and skirts that are too small:

If there's enough seam allowance, skirt or dress can be let out at the seams.

If there's not enough seam allowance, creating inserts from the different fabric (either matching  or contrasting) is possible in the side seams, back seams, sleeves and length - those are normally designed to look as they belong to the outfit in the first place and details are discussed and agreed with the customers prior to commencement of the work
